⚡ Electrical Design Engineer - Newcastle - Hybrid - 6 Months (Outside IR35)
We're supporting a leading consultancy in Newcastle looking to bring on board an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a 6-month contract. This role involves delivering full electrical design packages for high-rise residential and mixed-use developments.
Key Details:
- Location: Newcastle (Hybrid - 2 days remote / 3 days on-site)
- Duration: 6 months
- Start: ASAP
- Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 09:00 - 17:30
Fri: 09:00 - 16:30
Role Overview:
- Projects: Majority high-rise residential, with some industrial and commercial schemes
- Scope: Full M&E design responsibilities - lighting, cabling, containment, power systems, etc.
- Regulations: Must have a solid understanding of building control and building safety standards
Technical Requirements:
- Strong skills with CAD, Hevacomp, Relux, Amtech, and Dialux
- Experience designing to UK building regulations and standards
