Our client support the commissioning of specialist facilities and buildings to the Life Science industry.
We are supporting them with a role for an additional Field Service Technician/Engineer to support them in their duties including;
- Room integrity testing
- Leak testing
- Ventilation checks
- Instrument calibration and validation
- Reliability testing
- Fumigation cycles and testing
- Providing training to end clients
The role is remote based and onsite at various clients in the UK (and sporadically in Ireland). Once training is complete you will be provided a company vehicle and tools etc.
You will hold the following experience;
- Level 3 in mechanical/electrical discipline (or equivalent)
- HVAC knowledge
- knowledge of installation, commissioning and validation
- Ability to use manometers, balometers and humidity/temperature meters and similar.
It would be advantageous if you had previous experience in biocontainment or cleanroom/lab environments.
It is worth noting that the role can be physically demanding at times and will involve working in confined spaces.
The role would suit someone looking to move into Field Service from another engineering role. Basic salary is negotiable dependant on suitability and will likely land between £32,000 to £35,000 plus benefits.
