Legal Officer (Employment Law)

Roc Search are seeking a Legal Officer who practices in Employment Law to complete a 3 month Locum/temp role for our Public Sector client in the Midlands and UK wide.

As a Legal Officer you'll use your positive attitude, your knowledge of employment law and your ability to deliver legal advice to internal and external stakeholders, and support and represent them within Employment Tribunal proceedings.

Hybrid (1-2 days a week), the remainder to be remote
Can be based at any of these offices: Birmingham, Bolton, London (W1) or Leeds
35 hours a week
Start: 25th November 2024
3 month duration
*Any experience within Healthcare, NHS or Local Government will be advantageous

Person Spec
- Qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Expert knowledge of employment law
- Relevant post graduate qualification experience in employment law
- Experience of managing a large case load with supervision and taking direction accordingly
- Ability to advise and represent members on all aspects of employment law
- Ability to work and make decisions under supervision taking ownership of when to escalate
- Ability to draft legal pleadings and other documents
- Ability to manage conflict and retain a positive outlook
