Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation
  • Oversee project valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Manage contracts and procurement processes in line with company and industry standards
  • Monitor and control project costs from inception to completion
  • Work closely with design and construction teams to ensure commercial control is maintained
  • Provide timely reporting to senior management on project financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and contractual obligations
  • Support strategic planning and risk management across projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the theme park, interiorsor construction sectors
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials and cost control
  • Demonstrable track record of managing complex build projects, particularly in creative or themed environments
  • Solid knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. NEC, JCT) and procurement strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Flexible working approach - able to work remotely or from our offices in Birmingham or London as needed

Contract Details

  • Outside IR35
  • £500 per day
  • Flexible working: remote, hybrid, or office-based (Birmingham or London)
  • Immediate or short-notice start preferred
