Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation
- Oversee project valuations, variations and final accounts
- Manage contracts and procurement processes in line with company and industry standards
- Monitor and control project costs from inception to completion
- Work closely with design and construction teams to ensure commercial control is maintained
- Provide timely reporting to senior management on project financial performance
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and contractual obligations
- Support strategic planning and risk management across projects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the theme park, interiorsor construction sectors
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials and cost control
- Demonstrable track record of managing complex build projects, particularly in creative or themed environments
- Solid knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. NEC, JCT) and procurement strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Flexible working approach - able to work remotely or from our offices in Birmingham or London as needed
Contract Details
- Outside IR35
- £500 per day
- Flexible working: remote, hybrid, or office-based (Birmingham or London)
- Immediate or short-notice start preferred
