Test Lead - Sheffield- Hybrid- Up to 55k
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join a dynamic Managed Service Provider. In this role, you will take the lead in overseeing and executing testing processes across multiple high-priority projects. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from defining and refining test scripts to ensuring the highest quality in user and end-user acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the testing team across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all testing activities are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Develop and define comprehensive test scripts for a variety of project requirements, tailoring them to meet the needs of specific client environments.
- Refine and optimize test scripts based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Manage defect tracking and reporting, ensuring issues are promptly identified, documented, and addressed with the relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-User Acceptance Testing (EAUT) to ensure systems meet the business needs and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to drive continuous improvement and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related queries, providing expert guidance and support to junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Test Lead within an MSP or similar environment, with a strong track record in managing testing across multiple projects.
- Solid expertise in defect management, including identifying, documenting, and following through on resolutions.
- Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-User Acceptance Testing (EAUT).
- Expertise in defining and refining test scripts, with attention to detail to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex testing scenarios.
- Experience working in Agile or other relevant methodologies is a plus.
